• 2 cups Oatmeal
  • 4 cups Water or Milk
  • 1 cup Shredded Carrots
  • 1/2 cup Craisins
  • 1 Granny Smith Apple
  • 1 Tbs. Butter
  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon
  • Sprinkle Nutmeg to Taste


Add chopped apple and shredded carrots to pan and lightly sauté in butter. Place lightly cooked mixture into pot adding 4 cups of water (or ½ milk) and bring to a boil.

Add oatmeal, cover, and simmer stirring occasionally. Stir in the Craisins and cinnamon after 5 minutes of simmering. Cook oatmeal until creamy. Finish with a sprinkle of Nutmeg.
