 Installation and wiring of various electrical construction and maintenance projects; troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical breakdown.


 Must be trained in all aspects of the maintenance and repair of all potentially dangerous electrical powered machinery. Wire electric motors and circuits, layout, bending and installing conduit, sizing and pulling wire. Must be able to trouble shoot and repair all equipment from the previous levels, following at all times the Lock out Tag out Procedure and must have a good understanding of the limitations and proper use of all tools and PPE Gear.



 Continuous use of both hands; including grasping, pulling, and pushing. Walking and balancing on both feet, on even and uneven surfaces, standing, bending, twisting, stooping, climbing, reaching forward, reaching overhead and below the shoulder, sight. Must be able to lift up to 20Lbs.



JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Employee must meet or exceed all maintenance departments’ pre-requisites. Must pass the Maintenance 3A Electrician Qualification Exam and demonstrate a working knowledge of all aspects of Maintenance 3A Electrician. Must be able to make corrections to electrical diagrams if found to differ from what is there. Must be able to read and understand current PLC documentation and be able to trouble shoot to bad field devices from that documentation. Must be able to help mechanics decide the next course of action when on a breakdown. Must be able to make minor decisions where the process is not affected and a change order is not needed. Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions and decimals. Must be able to follow prescribed safety rules and pass electrical safety training. Must have a good safety and attendance record. Must be able to read and understand written information in English. Must pass drug screen, physical and functional capacity exam.
