To provide dedicated support for the Ag Division SVP and management team to improve the timely execution of personnel recruiting and onboarding, employee administration, performance management, and compensation management for the Ag team.


Act as the liaison between Ag Division and Human Resources Department. Ensure all facilitated services are in full HR compliance and meet the service objectives for the SVP and Ag management team. Provide information, executional guidance, and available resources to managers on company HR practices and procedures for recruiting, employee administration, performance management, and compensation management. May also execute actions in these areas on the SVP or manager’s behalf. Provide dedicated focus for recruiting Ag positions; including creation or modification of job descriptions, job posting, working with internal HR department, and external recruiters for candidate sourcing. Utilize systems and tools to manage job postings, applicant flow, candidate screening, interview scheduling, candidate follow-up, and creation of offer letters. May perform employee life cycle actions; including pre-employment event of job offer acceptance, background checks, new hire paperwork, orientation, and onboarding. Perform administrative actions related to pay, status, position, and organizational status through the course of an employee’s career up to end of employment. Assist managers in preparing for performance management activities from corrective action through annual performance evaluations. Provide timely and accurate employee information and reporting as needed, per specific activity and regular routines. Provide or direct manager to available resources and support the manager as needed per situation. Attend seminars and specific training as requested by the VP of HR for continuous training to develop HR competency.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or related field strongly desired. Certified PHR or SHRM-CP preferred. Must have five or more years’ experience in active administration of Human Resources functions. Must have applicable knowledge of: company policies (or best practices corporate policies), available HR resources, HR Standards resources, HR Standard Operating Procedures, proficiency in Microsoft Office 2013 Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must have a HR Generalist’s understanding of the recruiting process, employee lifecycle administration, and relevant employment laws. Must have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills. Must have an administrative skill set that includes excellent written and oral communication, strong project management and execution, paperwork organization, and workflow prioritization. Commitment to confidentiality in handling sensitive information. Bi-lingual English/ Spanish preferred. Occasional travel may be required. Must possess a current valid California driver’s license. Must pass pre-placement drug/ alcohol screen and background check.
