PG&E Presents Clean and Green Award to Grimmway Farms

Grimmway Farms of Bakersfield, California was recently presented with PG&E’s Clean and Green Award for demonstrating exemplary leadership in the area of energy efficiency and environmentally progressive business practices. PG&E presents the Clean and Green Award to 100 companies across the globe each year who show leadership in energy efficiency and conservation. Grimmway has averaged two major energy efficiency projects per year for the past 18 years, conserving enough power to provide energy needs for over 4,000 homes and eliminating the emission of over 31 million pounds of CO2 per year- that adds up to removing 558 million pounds of CO2 over the last 18 years. Grimmway Farms’ is proud to receive this award and looks forward to continuing to be a leader in energy efficiency and environmentally progressive business practices.
