In 1968 the Grimm brothers Bob and Rod set up their first roadside produce stand. Now, more than three decades later, Grimmway is one of the largest produce farming operations in the world. Crediting smart business, stellar customer service and the support of more than 4000 employees, supervisors and managers, Grimmway Farms continues to cultivate new growth opportunities both at home and abroad.

Cal-Organic
Starting with a quarter acre of lettuce back in 1983 and an idea of doing things differently, they have taken the business to include 60 different year-round vegetable items. Today the business has grown to thousands of certified organic acres. It still remains family owned and operated, promoting family values and integrity everyday. Working hard to provide personal service and finding solutions for your needs and constantly advancing the technology of organic agriculture to the highest levels.

Our headquarters are located in Lamont California at the southern most end of the pristine San Joaquin Valley, 15 miles southeast of the city of Bakersfield. The San Joaquin Valley is known as one of the world's premier agricultural growing regions. The bounty of sun and good weather in Lamont allows us to continue the tradition of quality that we are known for.

We also farm in some of the most beautiful and richest soils outside of the San Joaquin Valley, to help us provide you with year-round supplies. The areas that we grow include the Tehachapi Mountains, Antelope Valley as well as the Coachella and Imperial Valleys.

Bunny Luv
In 1995, Grimmway Farms purchased Mike Yurosek and Sons. Along with it, Grimmway acquired the well known Bunny Luv brand, and positioning as the number one grower, processor and shipper of carrots in the world.

In 2001, Grimmway Farms purchased King Pak Farms, a thriving Edison, CA potato growing, packing and shipping operation. The acquisition joined together two of Kern County's most highly respected farming families and resulted in adding major horsepower to the potato industry, added value for all of our combined retail customers and more opportunities for employees, supervisors and managers.
