Kathryn Vander Poel
In my internship experience, I was fortunate to meet and work with excellent cost accountants who have a respect and passion for Grimmway. I learned not only accounting principles, but was able to work hands-on with people at all different levels of the organization. I enjoyed and am thankful for the opportunities Grimmway Farms has given me.

Human Resources
My background in the agriculture industry comes from my family and talk of the industry is always abuzz around our dinner table! I am so thankful for the opportunity to work at Grimmway Farms and learn about all the different responsibilities that fall under the Human Resources umbrella. It’s taught me that there are so many ‘behind the scenes’ roles in supporting a thriving, complex farming company.

My internship at Grimmway Farms was the perfect opportunity to obtain real-life experience in the marketing field. I worked alongside the marketing team to develop social media strategies, gain a high level understanding of consumer relations, and help executive industry events. Everyone at Grimmway made me feel so at home and I always felt like my contributions were valued.

Quality Assurance
I had the pleasure of working with the quality assurance team this past summer, learning about the water infrastructure systems around Grimmway’s ranches. Working closely with the ranch managers to confirm new and existing water lines was a great learning experience and I saw firsthand how closely each of the departments work together to improve farming practices.
